A great story that began many years ago ...

Taking its name from the legend that led to the search for a great treasure in South America and the initiative of Mr Héctor Xavier González to promote beekeeping in the region with "Miel ElDorado" in the sixties, this forest located in Tzimol, Chiapas, offers a pleasant contact with nature and quality services for your relaxation, healthy recreation and well-being.

All this, based on caring yourself and the environment ... A true natural and personal treasure.

In 1980, starting in a sugarcane field that was considerably deforested and with the guidance of our friend Dr. Marco Antonio Torres and local labor, our project planted a thousand trees creating this forest that contrasts with its surroundings. In this way, feeling in a safe environment, local wildlife such as hummingbirds have come to lodge and reproduce in this place, so we have decided to name it as ElDorado House of the Hummingbirds.

A green paradise in the middle of a productive zone and with deforested areas
